LB574 Let Them Grow Act

  • Introduced by: Kauth​

  • Would prohibit the performance of gender altering procedures for individuals under the age of 19

LB626 Nebraska Heartbeat Act

  • Introduced by: Albrecht​

  • Provides that a physician may not perform or induce an abortion before testing for a fetal heartbeat, and that a physician may not perform or induce an abortion if a fetal heartbeat is detected, except in cases of sexual assault, incest, or medical emergency.

LB228 Election Security

  • Creates state holidays for election days, requires in-person voting(exemptions apply), counting of ballots on election day, and counting of ballots at the precinct level​​

LB575 Sports and Spaces Act

  • Introduced by: Kauth​

  • Seeks to prohibit the participation of biological males in interscholastic K-12 athletics designated for biological females and biological females from competing in interscholastic K-12 athletics designated for males, with the exception that biological females may compete in interscholastic athletics with biological males where no other opportunity to compete with biological females exists.

LB79 Adopt Nebraska EPIC Option Consumption Tax

  • Introduced by: Erdman​

  • Implements the EPIC Option Consumption Tax.  The EPIC Option Consumption Tax is an acronym where the word EPIC stands for the Elimination of Property, Income and Corporate taxes.  The EPIC Option Consumption Tax would repeal all state taxes except consumption taxes and excise taxes.

LB77 Provide for Concealed Carry Handguns without Permit

  • Restrictions currently codified within the Concealed and gun Permit Act relating to place and manner of concealed carry would be made to apply generally to any person carrying concealed and  not to permitholders only.

  • Allows for school choice and creates new funding avenues for schools to receive funds based on student enrollment, competition, and results

LB441 Change Provisions to Obscenity in School Libraries

  • Repeals the exemption from prosecution for those in educational institutions providing obscenity to minors in grades K-12

LB371 Drag Show Age Restrictions

  • Introduced by: Murman​

  • Adds a criminal penalty (Class I Misdemeanor) for anyone bringing a minor to a drag show. It further adds that no individual under the age of 21 will be allowed at a drag show where alcoholic liquor is being served.
